No Contact List

ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is committed to preventing, as far as possible, the revictimisation of victims of crime by managing contact between detainees and victims of crime, and between detainees and people in the community who do not wish to be contacted.

Persons who do not wish to be contacted by a detainee whilst they are in the custody of ACTCS may request to be added to the No Contact List by contacting us directly. You do not have to be a victim to be added to the No Contact List.

The following victims will automatically be added to the No Contact List:

The No Contact List includes all forms of communications available to detainees such as email, fax, mail, visits and telephone.

Information on the No Contact List is used only for the purpose of preventing contact by the detainee and is strictly confidential and only accessible to a small number of ACTCS staff.

You may ask to be removed from the No Contact List at any time. Children and young people must have authorisation from their parent or guardian to be removed from the list.
